Average Cost of Painting Per Room

To help give you a rough outline of painting prices and current labour fees, we have put together a quick guide that pairs rooms of various sizes with an average material and labour charge. Figures are based on ordinary white, branded, non-drip gloss paint, plus two coats per surface (wall or ceiling). That way you can get a notion of the cost of painting a room and just how much it might set you back:

Fencing:

Shown below are guide prices which you can use to calculate our labour costs. If you are happy with our installation guide prices we will come to see you and confirm what is to be done and the price we will charge.

In the majority of cases the guide price will be used but on occasion we may need to allow for circumstances such as poor access, steep slopes or poor ground due to large roots or concrete.

For domestic fencing comprising of posts and panels we charge for Labour as follows:

  • 1 panel = £78
  • 2 to 4 panels = £52 per panel
  • 5 or 6 panels = £45 per panel
  • 7 or more panels = £40 per panel

We can also dispose of your old fence and concrete footings at a cost of £9 per panel

As an Example of cost to you for 8 panels of fencing with wooden posts-

6ft lap panels (8 x £34.50 = £276)

3 inch posts(9 x £19 = £171)

1.5 bags post mix per post(14 x £10 = £140)

Installation of new fencing and disposal of old fencing (8 x £49 = £392)

TOTAL COST FOR 8 PANELS SUPPLIED AND FITTED = £979
